Headshots for Charity at the Navy Yard

Get a professional headshot taken in exchange for a small charitable donation to support City Growers.

On Friday July 14, 2023, in collaboration with professional portrait photographer Sho Ahsan, Urbanstrong is opening up our workshop showroom to offer headshot photography services exclusively for Brooklyn Navy Yard tenants and their employees. All proceeds will go to support fellow Yard tenant City Growers. They are a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit using urban agriculture to close fundamental gaps in the experiences of city kids: exploration of the natural world and understanding of where our food comes from.

Two different packages are offered below along with a sign-up sheet. Sign up for your timeslot here while you can.

Timeslots
On Friday July 14, 2023 we’ll run two shifts as follows:
12:00-1:00pm (4-5ppl)  
&
5:30-6:30pm (6-10+ ppl)

Feel free to come early and stay late as the Urbanstrong office will welcome people starting at 4:30pm for drinks, music and casual networking. Bring your friends…or feel free to come along and hang out even if you’re not getting your pic taken.

Packages
We’re offering two different photo packages with corresponding recommended donation amounts:

Option #1 - On-the-spot editing while you wait done by Sho on his phone. Final result (1-2 pics) texted to you immediately.  Cost: $10 total.

Option #2 - Post-production editing done by Sho offsite. Final results (1-2 pics) texted within the week. Cost: $35 total.

Payments will be taken via Paypal, Venmo, Zelle or cash.
